What exactly is Codenyl?
Codenyl is an independent studio and ecosystem of digital apps, tools, and software experiments. Instead of focusing on massive monolithic platforms, we build focused, highly useful utilities that share a common account and design language.
Why use Codenyl products?
If you are tired of overloaded interfaces, bloated feature sets, and aggressive data mining, Codenyl serves as an alternative. Our apps are built to look premium, execute specific tasks flawlessly, and stay out of your way.
Will apps come to the Play Store / App Store?
Currently, we heavily favor Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) because they allow us to deploy rapidly and maintain independence from store guidelines and steep revenue cuts. You can install our tools directly to your homescreen from the browser.
Is membership required?
No. Many basic utilities and core components of our apps are completely free. However, cross-device sync, premium cloud features, and specialized tools require an active Codenyl Membership to support our server and development costs.
How do accounts work?
Once you create a Codenyl account, you can use those credentials across every product we build without having to register repeatedly. Changes to your core account preferences will sync to all apps instantaneously.
What does supportership mean?
Support represents direct funding from users to the developers to build completely independent software. Contributions exceeding $52 (or ₹5000) automatically grant the "Major Supporter" tier, securing a spot on our permanent supporter wall.
